To get Doyourbooks to act as your bookkeeper follow these five easy steps to keep your bookkeeping in order.
Doyourbooks online bookkeeping is as simple as sending a fax.
All you do is scan your invoices and bills into a scanner, and the rest is done for you. Our qualified bookkeepers access your scanned documents and process them using MYOB.
How Doyourbooks works as your online bookkeeper:
- Getting started - a one off process. In consultation with you, we will review and update your accounts and provide a proposal and quote on the level of bookkeeping service you will need. Then one of our technicians will install a state-of-the-art scanner and router and train you and/or your staff how to use it.
- Records in - your bookkeeping couldn’t be simpler. All you do is scan your relevant documents such as invoices, bills and payroll timesheets into the scanner. Then you upload (via the Internet) the scanned images into your personalised directory, which is on the central database on our computer.
- Electronic filing - let our bookkeepers do your filing for you. Once we receive your scanned documents, we file them electronically and attach them to the relevant transactions within your books. You can then view each transaction online. Best of all, you don’t use up valuable office space storing all your bills and invoices as the electronic files created by doyourbooks are recognised as legal documents by all relevant authorities.
- Data processing - timely and accurate. As you send us your files, we will do your books, making sure they are up to date at all times with full legislative compliance. We can even prepare payment for all payroll and supplier invoices. If we have your banking details, we can forward the required payments to you to be electronically signed and processed at the push of a button. Or, we can send you a list of relevant payments to be made so that you can draw cheques for your creditors.
- Information available whenever you need it. Once our bookkeepers have processed your data, you can view it online, anytime. You can view reports online or we can send reports to you on request. Reports available include P&L, balance sheets, cash flow reports, BAS and IAS reports, payroll and management reports.
